I am both sad and happy that I was in Dapitan last month. Happy that I finally got to see the place where the great Jose Rizal spent four years during his exile. Sad that I was there before the Rizal @ 150 Heritage Trail passport was issued. I could have gotten my passport stamped, now I need to go back and retrace my steps, Boo hoo. Enough of my dramatic meanderings, if you have not been to the heritage city of Dapitan, then now is the time to explore the sites. With the country celebrating the 150th year of his birth, a Rizaliana inspired trip is a must for every traveler.
We were in Dapitan as part of our office's planning and cultural immersion program. Hint, hint, it's up to you to guess where I work.
